Meet your Trainers

Who are they? What's interesting about them?

MJ Tan

A passionate educator with 19 years of experience in the education industry, including 12 years of experience in training and mentoring educators, MJ is a dedicated mom and a strong advocate for conscious leading, parenting and family finance. As a HRDC-accredited trainer, she strongly champions for lifelong learning and has a decade of experience in doing Yearly Reflections and Goals Setting.


MJ is a torn ACL survivor.

Michelle Yip

Michelle is a multi-hyphenate who is involved in the performing arts, arts education, photography and news tech. As a theatre practitioner, she has been a stage manager for more than 10 years. In 2016, she went into arts education with 3 international schools, followed by her appointment as a lecturer with Sunway University's Department of Performing Arts in 2020.


Michelle lives in Langkawi most of the year; building her homestead.

Min Chia

As a social entrepreneur, Min Chia have worked on enterprises like PichaEats and The Other School. Her passion and calibre in creating training and experiential learning for different stakeholders have resulted in her working with young leaders in Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and France. Min Chia is a HRDC-accredited trainer.


Min Chia had a bike accident and broke her tooth before.

Reuben Cheow

Reuben has been in arts education for the last decade. He was the Managing Director of Arts and ran a 35-personnel team across three international schools. Majoring in theatre, he uses the stage as a medium to inspire and cultivate an appreciation for the arts. And as a HRDC-accredited trainer, he utilizes the arts to help others achieve their personal development goals.


Reuben hopes to one day be able to play the acoustic guitar.

  1. Q: What should I bring with me to the program?
    A: Please bring any necessary personal items such as laptops, notepads, and other materials required for note-taking and active participation.
    Recommended packing list:
    - Enough sets of clothing and spares for the duration of the program
    - Personal toiletries and hygiene products
    - Comfortable shoes for the different activities throughout the program
    - Jacket and hoodie (in case the venue gets cold)
    - Yoga Mat (if you have, this is for one of the activity during the leadership through theatre program)
    - Etc.

  2. Q: Will meals be provided during the program?
    A: Yes, meals will be provided throughout the duration of the program, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Special dietary requirements or restrictions can be accommodated if informed in advance.

  3. Q: Is there a dress code for the program?
    A: The dress code for the different activities are mentioned in the Day to Day Detailed Agenda. Please refer to the specific Agendas for each day for more info.

  4. Q: How can I get in touch with the program organizers?

  5. Q: Can I make changes to my workshop preferences or schedule?
    A: As the program schedule is carefully curated to provide the best learning experience for all participants, changes to workshop preferences or schedule may not be possible. However, if you have any specific concerns or issues, please reach out to the program organizers, and we will do our best to assist you.

  6. Q: Can I attend only specific sessions or days of the program?
    A: The program is designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience throughout the entire week. It is recommended to attend all sessions to maximize the benefits. However, if you have unavoidable conflicts, please contact the program organizers, and we can discuss potential options.

  7. Q: Will there be any opportunities for networking with other participants?
    A: Absolutely! The program includes dedicated networking events and activities where you will have the opportunity to connect and engage with other high-potential participants from the bank. These networking opportunities are designed to foster meaningful connections and facilitate valuable professional relationships.

  8. Q: Is there a specific time for check-in and registration?
    A: Yes, there will be a designated check-in time on the first day of the program. You will receive detailed information regarding check-in procedures, including location and timing, closer to the program start date.

  9. Q: What happens if there are any program updates or changes?
    A: In the event of any program updates or changes, we will notify all participants via this landing page and/or other communication channels provided. It is essential to regularly check this landing page and stay connected to receive the latest information and updates regarding the program.

  10. Q: Where can I park my motorcycle during the Leadership Through Theatre workshop?
    A: You may park at the Old Wing of One Utama or Avanté Hotel, depending on whether you plan to check in. If you will be checking in, you may park at Avante. Please refer to the reference pictures here to see the entrances for the Old Wing and Avante motorcycle parking respectively. Both options are FOC.
