THE SIMULATIONS
The Blueprint Simulation is a tabletop simulation that places participants in the construction industry where they work in teams acting as construction companies to secure contracts and build various structures. The simulation will test each team’s communication, collaboration, trust, strategy, and decision making skills. With each successful structure, the team will earn revenue and can raise their company’s reputation, which will grant them access to more exclusive contracts and resources.

Be Our Guest is a simulation set in the hospitality industry where participants compete in teams to build their respective hotels with strategic upgrades fueled by successful customer service interactions. Participants rotate between the roles of a customer and customer service executive (CSE) in roleplays guided by customer service scenarios and problems while applying customer service best practices and lessons. The team with the highest hotel star rating at the end of the simulation will emerge the victors.

THE EXPERTS
Sufiz Suffian
Sufiz specializes in creating impactful experiences and driving desired behaviours through design and engagement. He is a consultant and trainer specialising in Gamification, Behavioural Design, Design Thinking, Marketing, and Learning and Development. Armed with a Bachelor’s degree majoring in Management and Marketing, he has over 8 years of experience in business development, project management, and marketing.
He specialises in gamification and behavioural design, and works on designing engagement frameworks that lead to behavioural change and actual business results leveraging gamification design methodologies and habit building models. He has spearheaded gamification and behavioural design consulting projects in the region, ranging from product design, marketing gamification, community gamification, learning and development, and people and culture transformation. His past clients include Fortune 500 companies, multinationals, government agencies, international business schools, international consultants, small to medium enterprises, technology companies, training providers, and manufacturers.
As a trainer, he has delivered impactful talent programs at the regional level and facilitated groups between 10 to 300 people ranging from junior to senior levels that resulted in high engagement and retention, while achieving actual business results. He has conducted training sessions for companies such as Axiata Group, SME Bank, Tenaga Nasional Berhad, Air Selangor, KWAP (Kumpulan Wang Persaraan), Inalum (Indonesia), CIMB Niaga (Indonesia), Enpeo (Thailand), Korn Ferry (Singapore and Indonesia, and IJM Corporation Berhad. As a trainer, he has been described to be highly efficient, articulate, well-read, knowledgeable, and adept at manging the energy and engagement of the participants in the room.
Michael Teoh
Michael Teoh is the Founder & CEO of Thriving Talents - A 'Millennials-Generation' focused Leadership, Sales & Teambuilding training company, established since 2012, with a reputable list of Fortune 500 clients across 41 countries.
Michael's work in assisting companies & leaders to upskill their employees, have gotten him featured on CNN, BBC, the United Nations and also had President Barack Obama visit one of his leadership workshops for young future leaders.
Michael also serves as a Board of Trustee for Setia Foundation (Affiliated with Setia Berhad). He is also the Vice-President & Chief of Government Relations of Persatuan Usahawan Maju Malaysia (PUMM) and Vice-President of Education & Events of the Malaysian Association of Professional Speakers (MAPS).
Michael had taken on Advisory roles for Millennials Workforce Development with; Microsoft Corp (USA), World Youth Parliament (Geneva, Switzerland) and was part of the Advisory Board for NGOs affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education & Ministry of Youth & Sports Malaysia.
He has also won multiple awards, including Malaysia's Young Entrepreneur of the Year for Companies Valued Up to RM25 Million by The Star Outstanding Business Awards (SOBA), the Golden Bull Awards – Emerging SME Winner, SME 100 ‘Fastest Growing SME of the Year’ in Malaysia, PRESTIGE's Top 40 Under 40 and is a two times National Youth Icon – Personal Development, 2013 & 2017.
Michael obtained undergraduate qualifications from Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand and has completed executive courses and special programmes from Harvard, Stanford University and INSEAD. He is also a Certified Motivational Coach (Singapore) and an NLP Practitioner by the American Board of NLP.

I first engaged Michael and Thriving Talents in designing and delivering a series of workshops on Effective & Persuasive Communication skills for different levels of employees and departments during my time in CSR.
